Energy
Tesla & solar charger
This application automatically controls electric-vehicle charging according to the available solar surplus. It runs 24/7 on a roughly ten-year-old Raspberry Pi Model B+ with 512 MB of memory, won at a trade show and then left in a drawer for years. Now connected to the home mesh network, this small computer brings together photovoltaic production, household consumption, grid exchanges and charging status. The project also provided the experience required to design and obtain approval for a bespoke Tesla application.

Bespoke MCP servers
OPCoach develops bespoke MCP servers that connect AI assistants and agents to the genuinely useful functions of email, Dolibarr and other business systems. OPCoach MCP Mail is released as open-source software under the MIT licence, works with generic IMAP/SMTP mailboxes and keeps secrets on the controlled machine. For Dolibarr, the connector restricts AI to authorised operations so business data can be consulted, prepared or updated within a controlled framework.
